…underneath are the Everlasting Arms…part 2
“The God of old is (your) dwelling place and underneath are the everlasting arms.” Deut. 33:27a
The song still plays on repeat in my head. (I Will Not Forget You) Others have joined – speaking of Your “alone-ness” – You alone are God. Your Word has given backing to these daily songs…I do not yet know the what or why of this message, but I will be as Mary and ponder these things in my heart. I still seek your fruits. I still require greater filling. Probably I require more emptying! Whatever, Father, just whatever…(3/15)
Father, I fear that I may have spoken too many words yesterday – leaving open the possibility of sin and/or disrespect. I still don’t know how to “lighten up” and leave feeling light about it! (Is this just another form of pride…self-piety?)…Teach me…help me to relax – even rejoice in the person You created me to be! God, I pray by the Power of Your Son’s Name (for)…Nathan…for his growing passion, zeal, maturity, and impact for Your Kingdom – whatever is going on (in his physical body), let it only lead to the fruition of Your will in his life – Your utmost glory, his greatest best for Your Kingdom! Do not delay…bring Your favor, I pray!
The birds still sing this morning…(3/18)
Quotes by Corrie Ten Boom that have lifted my eyes…
Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength… This is what the past is for! Every experience God gives us, every person He puts in our lives is the perfect preparation for the future that only He can see… Hold everything in your hands lightly, otherwise it hurts when God pries your fingers open… If you look at the world, you’ll be distressed. If you look within, you’ll be depressed. If you look at God, you’ll be at rest.
